MarÃa Victoria MunguÃa Medina
Spanish teacher
Victoria's little boy was born in December 2014. She is originally from the Canary Islands, and is a native Spanish speaker.
Victoria is passionate about languages, and works as a Spanish language teacher in Sheffield, as well as hosting spanish students staying in England to practice their English.
The group is designed and run
by two Sheffield mums -
an English Speech and Language Therapist,
and a native Spanish language teacher.
Between us we have the skills and knowledge to create a group that fosters natural language development.
We aim to give parents the confidence to help their child get a head start learning a second language, by beginning to use Spanish during day to day activities.
Everything is very practical and relevant to life with a baby – we know what sort of things parents and babies talk about!
About Us
Give your little one the chance to naturally soak up a second language!
Sarah Cosgrove
Speech and Language Therapist
Sarah's little girl was born in May 2015. She is taking a career break from being a speech and language therapist, to spend more time with her daughter.
Sarah speaks passable Spanish - she did Spanish A level, and spent 5 months living in Peru volunteering at a special needs school.
No previous Spanish is necessary; after all we’re starting at the level of a baby!
Baby Spanish is a fun activity group, where babies and parents use Spanish whilst playing, singing and enjoying all sorts of activities.
(Don’t worry, we use English as well during the sessions…)
We run groups aimed at babies from 6 months to toddlers aged 3 years, and their grown-ups.
